Astros’ Manager & GM Fired After Punishment For Sign-Stealing Scandal

Houston Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager AJ Hinch were fired by the team owner after Major League Baseball announced they would be suspended for a season for a sign-stealing scandal.

An investigation confirmed the Astros cheated by using a camera-based, sign stealing system during their World Series winning 2017 season and during a portion of the following season.

Houston will also lose first and second round draft picks this year and next and the organization was fined $5 million.
