It's takeout or delivery only for a large swath of the country.

Washington state and Los Angeles have made the decision that restaurants can remain open during the coronavirus pandemic, but only to make food for takeout or delivery.

Illinois, Ohio and New York City have made similar moves.

Here in Florida, most restaurants remain open as usual and Gov. DeSantis says he would prefer eateries follow certain restrictions like a

certain amount of distance between each table or a 50 percent limit on each restaurant.

Meanwhile, Chick Fil-A has closed all of its dining rooms offering only drive-thru service, take-out or delivery options.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention wants a postponement or cancellation of events that would draw 50 people or more for the next eight weeks.

The CDC mentioned sporting events, weddings, and festivals.

There are beaches in South Florida that are closing.

Schools throughout Florida are out for students at least the next two weeks and remote-learning might be the only way of learning after that.

All of this and much more.
