Trump Criticized For Using Drug He Touted To Fight COVID-19

Pres. Trump says he’s been taking an anti-malaria drug that he has repeatedly touted as a possible treatment for or prevention of COVID-19.

The president’s doctor says he and Trump decided the benefits outweighed the risks.

The White House physician suggested the decision to take Hydroxychloroquine as a preventive measure came after White House staffers tested positive for the coronavirus.
