Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin today for a community meeting on unrest since the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
A statement from the Biden campaign says they'll attempt to help bring Americans together "to heal" and address serious challenges ahead.
Biden plans to meet with Blake's family, something Pres. Trump opted not to do when he was told attorneys would be involved.
"Well, I spoke to the (family's) pastor ... and I thought it would be better not to do anything where there were lawyers involved. They wanted me to speak. They wanted to have lawyers involved and I thought that was inappropriate, so I didn't do that. But I did speak with the pastor of the family," Trump said.
The president, during his visit, met with members of law enforcement and business owners who have seen their businesses destroyed by rioters.
