Senate Republicans have secured their 50th seat in attempts to hang onto the majority.
Alaska Incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan defeated his Democrat challenger Al Gross.
The GOP needs one more win to keep the majority and for Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky to remain the majority leader, while Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York would retain the minority leader position.
Control of the Senate hinges on two runoffs in Georgia, where Incumbent Republican Senator David Perdue is being challenged by 33-year old Democrat Jon Ossoff and Incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler faces a challenge from Democrat Raphael Warnock.
The runoffs will play out in a January election.
