- U.S. News & World Report named Florida’s higher education system tops in the nation based on outcomes, cost and time to complete degree programs
- The future U.S. Space Command Headquarters won’t be in Florida. The Air Force announced that Alabama, California and Colorado are the three finalists for the future “Space Force”
- The state announced that the 2020 legislative session will be bumped up to start January 14th, next year reflecting the election year changes that passed last year
