Best Buy partners with Apple – what it means to you
Bottom Line: You’ve already been able to buy your Apple stuff at Best Buy. But now the Geek Squad can help you with more than traditional PC problems. Yesterday Apple agreed with Best Buy to certify the Geek Squad repair service for Apple repairs, including all warranty work and on all devices. The promise is also the same as at existing Apple stores, including same-day service for most repairs. Apple’s footprint while huge with products had still be limited based on the location of its stores. Prior to this deal being signed only about a third of Apple’s US customers were within 20 minutes of a certified repair service for its products. With this deal that number jumps to 80% and adds a lot of convenience for a lot of Apple customers when you need service and repair work. And of course, with our reliance on our devices these days... We need it quickly too.
