- Governor DeSantis signed 15 bills into law including...legislation that aimed at curbing irresponsible cosmetic surgery centers. Doctors who are found to have engaged in malpractice will be blocked from operating for up to five years
- The bill authorizing industrial hemp production in Florida is now law – this also authorizes the state’s Department of Agriculture to regulate the industry and will result in the crackdown of abuse of CBD products Commissioner Nikki Fried warned of earlier this week
- The governor also signed the legislation that voids local governments from blocking homeowners from maintaining vegetable gardens on their property
