- The Florida Department of Transportation is now actively seeking a company to replace Conduent, the company that botched billing for the better part of a year for Sunpass. The state’s contract runs through 2022 but Florida will opt out from the deal at that time. The state has begun the process to evaluate a successor
- Florida’s unemployment rate remained at 3.3% in August, below the 3.7% rate nationally. That’s down from a peak of 11.3% in 2010.
- According to state records, over 2,000 “red flag” orders have now been issued under the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Act’s Reg Flag Law since it’s inception last year.
