- Wal-Mart's new home delivery service InHome grocery delivery, which enables Wal-Mart delivery employees to deliver directly into your home, began yesterday in three test markets, one of which is Vero Beach. It’s $19.95 monthly after purchasing a $50 smart lock door kit purchase that the delivery service uses to access homes
- Governor DeSantis announced three judicial appointments Stephen Whyte to the 12th Judicial Circuit, Bruce Carney to a Citrus County judge post, and Andrea Totten in Flagler County.
- The MSD Public Safety Commission issued recommendations that schools should have four active-shooter drills per school year with each being a unique drill to introduce potential variables that could occur in an emergency
- Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis has been appointed to FEMA’s National Advisory Council in a move that will help Florida directly impact FEMA’s planning, emergency response plans and reimbursement schedules after emergencies
- Formula 1 racing announced a deal with Hard Rock Stadium to host an annual race, to be called the Miami Grand Prix starting in May of 2021. The agreement must be approved by the county commission.
