It’s not just Pensacola, Islamic terrorism remains rampant

Bottom Line: As the FBI continues to investigate Friday’s attack at Naval Air Base Pensacola as an act of terrorism, it’s a good time to review how big the threat remains. The Saudi attacker quoted Osama Bin Laden and appears to have a trail depicting a long connection to Islamic terror ideology. It reminds us that this isn’t the first time Saudis bent on terror under the influence of Osama Bin Laden infiltrated our state – though I’ve yet to hear anyone illustrate that particular point. 18+ years later Islamic terror remains a threat, and years after his death, Saudi Arabia’s Osama Bin Laden remains an influence.

For most it seems implausible that large sects of people could live everyday lives in our society, in this case in the military and aspire to kill those around them. That’s because we don’t identify with evil. As I’ve addressed many times over the years. Political correctness gets people killed, especially when it comes to Islamic terror. Islam under Sharia is evil. Most of the governed Islamic world practices under Sharia. That’s an inconvenient truth. It also leads to regular and pervasive Islamic terror attacks.

In the past month alone here’s the Islamic terror scorecard:

  • 100 attacks
  • 23 countries
  • 467 murdered
  • 488 injured

That’s an average of three terror attacks per day killing an average of 16 people per day. It’s kind of a big deal isn’t it? Except it’s not covered as such and so unless it happens close to home, we generally don’t know. Again, the most important form of bias in news media is omission. If we want answers, we can’t hide from the reality of what Islam under Sharia represents. There are only two options. Convert or be killed. It’s all of our hopes to never be confronted by the most motivated foot soldiers, but hundreds of people monthly aren’t so fortunate. It’s still about Islam.
