BROOKSVILLE -- A 15 year old boy faces attempted murder and carjacking charges after someone was shot in what Hernando deputies called a drug dispute.
They found a victim in the 22000 block of Jacobson Road in Brooksville, with several gunshot wounds. A 9-1-1 caller told dispatchers the victim was "covered in blood."
After being flown to a hospital as a trauma alert, the victim told deputies of being shot by an acquaintance, and begging not to die.
Detectives went to the teen's home and found several firearms as well as narcotics, as well as the victim's stolen car. The suspect is at the Ocala juvenile center.
