Miami-Dade Public Transit Workers File Lawsuit Against Transit Director

Miami-Dade transit workers file a lawsuit alleging "life threatening" violations during the coronavirus outbreak. The suit filed today by nearly 3-thousand members of the transit workers union claims officials have not provided them with sufficient masks, gloves and other protective gear. Union President Jeffrey Mitchell says they want the same personal protective equipment given to police, fire and other emergency personnel. They're also asking Transit Director Alice Bravo to properly sanitize buses and rail cars and better enforce social distancing protocols.
