Another mask mandate may be coming to Martin County.
The county commission allowed the original mandate to expire over the weekend. It was an order for all residents to wear facial coverings in public.
Commissioners voted Tuesday to give public notice that they will consider a new mask order at their meeting in two weeks.
In the meantime, they want to look at data and come up with a mandate that is clearly defined.
One commissioner says many small business owners told him that their revenue improved during the month-long mandate because it made customers feel safe.
