Jury Duty is back. Palm Beach County jury trials are getting underway again for the first time since the pandemic shut them down.
The Fifteenth Judicial Circuit is summoning jurors for service beginning Wednesday, with special protocols in place to keep potential jurors safe from the coronavirus.
Those serving for jury duty will enter the courthouse through a security door separate from the public, and will get protective gear during their service.
Seating is in line with social distancing guidelines and courtrooms have plexiglass and air "scrubbers," to eliminate airborne microorganisms.
