- Localized flooding in South Florida from Tropical Storm Eta continues as parts of South Florida have experienced more than 16 inches of rain with more continuing today. Be especially careful when driving through roads that are prone to flooding and areas where you can’t see the road. Related...
- The Hark Rock Stadium COVID-19 test site is offline until further notice after flooding on Monday. That being said all South Florida state run testing sites will remain closed today, and those able to reopen will tomorrow. Tri-Rail is resuming service today.
- Your odds of having contacted COVID-19 are now about 4% as the US crossed 10 million diagnosed cases yesterday. Adjusted for population, Florida ranks 13th nationally, or slightly above average, for likelihood of having been exposed to the virus.
- The 2020 Atlantic hurricane season is officially the most active monitored since official tracking began in 1851. With the development of Subtropical storm Theta in the mid-Atlantic, we now have 29 named storms this season – exceeding 2005’s record setting season which didn’t end until January 2006.
