The Boynton Beach Police Department is hosting a bone marrow drive for a 3-year old Delray Beach girl.
Sloane Caston has battled brain and spinal cancers in her short life and suffers from a bone marrow disorder.
Her family is working with the Gift of Life Marrow Registry, in the search for a marrow match to help save her life.
You can show up at the police department's new headquarters, at 2100 High Ridge Road in Boynton Beach from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday.
Donors simply swab the inside of their cheeks and complete a registration questionnaire. Those ages 18 to 35 who are in good health are especially urged to attend.
Those unable to attend in person can request a swab kit to be delivered at home by visiting giftoflife.org/SloaneStrong. To hold a virtual or in-person donor recruitment drive, email Traci Ackerman at tackerman@giftoflife.org.
