Top Three Takeaways – January 11th, 2021

  1. Old realities. There are two major concerning realities which I’ve realized during the course of my career. It’s material I spoke of, documented, warned about but ultimately watched played out. The first was the takeover of the education establishment by radical factions bent on the removal of American history and any semblance of faith-based principals. That’s nothing new, it’s been underway since the 1960’s but began to take a major leap forward with the creation of the Department of Education in 1980. We now have two generations of adults, Millennials and Gen Z, raised and “educated”, one might say indoctrinated, under these principals. The implications have been many as we’ve seen with the advent of the cancel culture, selective me tooisms and the embracing of socialism. Speaking of the cancel culture, it’s now cultivated in the second I’ve long warned and spoken about and that take us to...
  2. New realities. Censorship is here and four of the five largest companies in the world...Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook are leading the charge. It wasn’t enough for Facebook and the ever-anti-American platform known as Twitter to censor the President of the United States. No, Google even censored the whole free-speech oriented social platform Parler from its app stores. Google has taken the extra step of deciding that it not only wants to censor people and ideas it doesn’t agree with – it won’t even tolerate platforms that allow for freedom of expression to exist in its universe. Think about the implications of that one for a moment. Amazon decided to pull the plug on their servers. We’ve never seen anything like this.
  3. Reality. Extremists are often dangerous and have been a visible threat in our current society. From the anarchist elements of Antifa and the Marxists behind the Black Lives Matter organization to the wing nuts on the right who stormed the Capitol and are still circulating dangerous material suggesting President Trump will remain president after January 20th – extremism is currently pervasive in society. That’s also a bit of an oxymoron given that by definition, extremes are outliers. To that end, welcome to the biggest threat to the United States of America currently. It’s censorship. There’s a reason why the first Amendment to the Constitution is freedom of expression. There’s no more important right in our society. It didn’t exist under the British crown. Indecently freedom of expression still doesn’t exist in England. Anyway, the biggest threat to the future of the United States of America isn’t extremist political movements at present. It’s the loss of 1st Amendment rights carried out through censorship led by major technology platforms. Clearly, they’re emboldened by the future presented by the Biden administration with Democrats in control of Congress. What does that tell you? See you on Parler...
