A Florida woman was arrested after cops say she had been driving around with the body of a man in the trunk of her car for ten days.
37-year old Andrea Sanchez of Sebastian faces charges of abusing a dead body.
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office says the victim, identified as John Swanigan, was reported missing on January 9th and had last been seen leaving a party with Sanchez.
Detectives located her vehicle a week and a half later and noticed strong odor coming from the trunk. That's where they found Swanigan's body.
Sanchez claims the man had sexually abused her and when she managed to escape from him, Swanigan was still alive.
She's being held on $50,000 bond.
