An FBI agent killed in the line of duty is being remembered for his passion, determination and optimism.
That's what FBI Director Christopher Wray said about Special Agent Daniel Alfin, who was shot to death by a suspect while serving a warrant in Sunrise.
A memorial ceremony was held on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium for the 36-year-old Alfin, who's survived by his wife and son.
Alfin's work was focused on crimes against children, especially cyber crimes, and Wray says so many children are safe today because of the work Alfin did slaying the monsters most of us would never want to meet.
A memorial service for Laura Schwartzenberger, the other agent killed in the shooting, was held at Hard Rock on Saturday.
