A current city council member and former mayor of Riviera Beach are sponsoring a job fair.
More than a dozen employers, including FPL, Pepsi and the City of Riviera Beach's Fire and Police Departments, are taking part in the event being put on by Councilman Douglas Lawson and Bishop Thomas Masters, a longtime mayor of the city.
The event is underway between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Riviera Beach Marina.
In addition to the chance to meet with representatives from the businesses, attendees will have an opportunity to learn how to write a resume and receive tips on how to prepare for an interview.
