- Spring Break starts today for Palm Beach and Martin County schools. Spring Break last year marked the end of classroom instruction for most of Florida’s students across the state at the onset of the pandemic.
- Florida’s trend for new COVID-19 cases continued lower through the weekend. With fewer than 3,700 new reported cases on Sunday by the Florida Department of Health, Florida’s weekly trend for daily cases dropped to 4,545. The lowest since November 4th.
- Over 4.2 million COVID vaccinations have now taken place in Florida. This includes over 2.3 million Floridians who’ve completed the vaccine schedule. A total of 76,740 one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines were administered last week. Related...
- Effective today all Floridians 60 and older are eligible for a COVID vaccine. The age was dropped from 65 and older previously. Governor DeSantis indicated the next move will be to drop the age to 55 and older followed by all Floridians.
