Veterans, their spouses and/or caregivers can get vaccinated against the coronavirus Wednesday at a pop-up clinic hosted by the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.
The clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church in Belle Glade.
The VA has resumed distributing the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine after the CDC and FDA allowed it to be distributed again last week. That announcement followed a more than one week pause of the vaccine over links to rare blood clots.
In addition to the J&J vaccine, 200 doses of the Moderna vaccine are also available, with second dose appointments automatically scheduled for May 28.
The West Palm Beach VA is also offering vaccinations by walk-in and appointment at their stationary clinic on the grounds of the hospital.
