  • Florida’s trend for coronavirus cases improved for a 15th consecutive day on Thursday with 4,504 cases reported dropping the weekly trend to 4,300 cases or the lowest since November 2nd. Thursday has generally been the peak day of reporting during the week. 
  • Over 9.1 million Floridians, or 42% of Florida’s total population have been vaccinated with at least a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. This includes nearly 6.7 million Floridians who’ve now been completed a vaccine series. 
  • Governor DeSantis signed Florida’s SB 90, aka Voter Integrity bill into law yesterday. The law takes effect July 1st. Two lawsuits were immediately filed by liberal interest groups. According to Harvard’s Election Integrity Project, US election integrity was the second worst in the developed world in 2020 and Florida’s system was scored a 75 out of 100.
  • Pandemic procedures at Florida’s courthouses are being relaxed. Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles Canady signed an order stating masks and temperature checks and related health screenings won’t be required to enter buildings. Masks will be required in the courtroom itself.
