- Florida’s state legislature is poised to take action to address condo inspections in the wake of the Champlain Towers South collapse in Surfside. - Another Miami Beach building has been ordered to evacuate as inspections continue in the wake of the Surfside collapse. The building located at 6881 Indian Creek Drive has been ordered to evacuate by Monday. The owner of the building said it’s set to be demolished in December.
