  • COVID-19 cases continued to rise on Tuesday reaching a three-month high. With over 8,300 new cases reported, the weekly trend for daily cases now sits at 6,230 – the highest since February 17th. Speaking of rising trends... 
  • Gas prices are another penny higher in Florida today. The statewide average as of Wednesday morning was $4.51 per gallon – a new record high. Prices range from a low of $4.55 per gallon in Miami-Dade to an average statewide high of $4.64 per gallon in Monroe & Palm Beach. 
  • Having recently turned over its communications staff, on back of their damaging campaign to take a stand against the State of Florida over the Parental Rights in Education legislation, Disney has announced new advertising guidelines. Disney announced its Disney+ service won’t accept ads for alcohol or political messages. NBC’s most recent national poll showed only 33% of Americans still held a positive view of Disney. 
  • While the Miami Heat are battling the Boston Celtics in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals, winning game one 118-107 on Tuesday, a Celtics co-owner donated millions to the state of Florida to aid the state’s effort to combat manatee deaths. The Fox Rock Foundation is donating $1 million each to Florida Fish & Wildlife and Save the Manatee Club.
