- Former President Donald Trump was the star of the Turning Point USA Conference in West Palm Beach over the weekend. Trump addressed the conference and dominated the 2024 Presidential straw poll vote conducted at the conference with the support of 86% of those in attendance.
- CoreLogic has identified four Florida housing markets within the top ten most likely to decline in price over the next year. Lakeland-Winter Haven, North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton, Cape Coral-Fort Myers and Port St. Lucie. Those markets are being given a 70% likelihood of declining in price over the next year.
- The West Palm Beach GreenMarket has been named the Best Farmers Market in the country for the 3rd straight year by USA Today. The publication selected 20 green markets across the country with readers voting on the nominees. This year’s GreenMarket in West Palm Beach will kick off with 125 vendors in October.
- Gas prices dropped a bit over the weekend. Statewide the average price for regular unleaded is currently $3.40 per gallon – 6 cents lower than a week ago. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.56 per gallon, which is the highest price in the state.
