What Would Judge Merchan’s Daughter Do? Terrorists in Florida? & Peak Heat

What Would Judge Merchan’s Daughter Do? Terrorists in Florida? & Peak Heat – Top 3 Takeaways

  1. What would your daughter do? Recently, in talking about the three key remaining catalysts in this year’s presidential race I highlighted what rarely these days is cited but that just over a month from now could be the ultimate bombshell in the race. As I mentioned... For now, New York Judge Juan Merchan has rescheduled September 18th as Trump’s sentencing date for his conviction in the Stormy Daniels Hush Money case. What will the Democrat donor judge do? Will the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling lead to another potential delay of sentencing in the case (to push it past the election)? Will Merchan move ahead with his sentencing? If he does, what will he do? If he decides to sentence Trump to jail how would that play (and also based on Trump’s extremely strong appeal prospects in that case, due to Merchan’s blatantly biased handling of that case, how long would he stay)? Yesterday we learned that Trump attorney Todd Blanche has made a personal and legal appeal to the judge to reconsider moving forward with the sentencing date as is currently scheduled. The Supreme Court’s immunity ruling, the proximity to the presidential election, and that of the judge’s conflict of interest. As was stated by Blanche in his letter to Judge Merchan: The Court should adjourn any sentencing in this case, though one should not be necessary because dismissal and vacatur of the jury’s verdicts are required based on Presidential immunity, until after the 2024 Presidential election. The current schedule contemplates the type of highly expedited proceedings that the Supreme Court already criticized. All true. But the other massive point driven home by Blanche is just how blatantly biased the Judge and his decision to proceed with sentencing would appear to be. Blanche highlighted, in detail, about how the judge’s daughter is not only a paid consultant of the Democrat Party, but that she is directly being paid to help Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign! There’s truly no telling how Judge Merchan’s decision is going to go. And I say that for this reason. On the one hand you have a judge who had personally donated to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and whose daughter has long worked as a Democrat operative who now has in front of him the opportunity to literally have Donald Trump locked up. On the other hand, you have a judge who obviously wants Kamala Harris to win and whose daughter is literally being paid to help make it happen. How has the lawfare campaign against Trump played out to date? How do you think the average potentially persuadable voter would view Donald Trump being locked up by a Democrat donor judge whose daughter has worked for the Harris campaign when Pennsylvania has already begun early voting? Is that a wise political move? What would the daughter who advises Democrat campaigns advise her father to do in furtherance of the Harris presidential campaign? That’s why anything’s possible. Including Blanche’s request for a delay in sentencing to potentially go his way.
  2. Terrorists next door? Recently we learned that the Biden-Harris open border policy wasn’t just responsible for bringing illegal immigrants by the millions in, but that it was also responsible for knowingly allowing terrorists on the US Terror Watch list in. As we learned the Biden-Harris Administration detected 375 illegal immigrants whose identities matched those on the US Terror Watch List spanning 36 different countries. Of them, 99 were released into the interior and 34 are still detained in US custody. Remarkably, 31 of the 99 Terror Watch List members were granted stay after being vetted by an immigration judge. So where is it that the 99 terrorists explicitly sponsored by the Biden-Harris administration have gone? That’s a good question, right? Could it be that terrorists are in a home near you? Florida’s AG Ashley Moody would like to know. In a Freedom of Information Act request and supporting letter sent to Department of Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Florida AG Moody said: On the behalf of the state of Florida It is my understanding that DHS has provided the State no information or intelligence regarding terrorists who may be present in our State. As you know, Florida is a uniquely attractive destination for illegal immigrants. It is thus likely that many of the 99 terrorists DHS released have traveled to our State. If immigration judges are ordering these aliens released, it is likely because DHS does not have an adequate process to inform these judges that the aliens appearing before them are on a terrorist watchlist. I have already taken you to court and proven that you “have effectively turned the Southwest Border into a meaningless line in the sand and little more than a speedbump for aliens flooding into the country.” But I would hope that even a radical open border activist like you would agree that terrorists should not be allowed to roam freely in our country. Because of the failure described in this letter, I have submitted the attached Freedom of Information Act request seeking to obtain more information regarding DHS’s failure to protect Floridians from terrorism. I expect your full cooperation. If you do have terrorists next door – Moody intends to find them. Waking up daily in Florida is the one thing that keeps me sane.
  3. Past the peak of the summer heat. As we’re set to wrap up this week we’re also past the peak of Florida’s summer heat. Yes, we’ll have more days in the 90’s on the way (it is August in Florida after all) - though thankfully no we shouldn’t have any more in the mid 90’s. But as we’re past the midway point of the month we’re also past the peak temperatures we typically see. As NOAA explains... For most of the country, the warmest day occurs sometime between mid-July and mid-August. The amount of solar radiation reaching Earth (in the northern Hemisphere) peaks at the summer solstice on June 21, but temperatures tend to keep increasing into July. The continued warming occurs because the rate of heat input from the sun during the day continues to be greater than the cooling at night for several weeks past the solstice, until temperatures start to descend in late July and early August. In southeast Florida we’re at the longer end of that curve, but recently we passed our average peak. Based upon your location, between the Palm Beaches and the Treasure Coast, the hottest days of the year usually take place between August 9th and the 15th – meaning that we’re wrapping up the hottest week of the year. Of course, it won’t be cool anytime soon, but it should be a bit cooler than it’s been and that’s a win to take into the weekend.
