  • Authorities released the mugshot of attempted Trump assassin Ryan Routh on Wednesday in addition to providing additional details of the case. Routh stole a license plate from a 2012 Ford truck and placed it on the Nissan SUV he was driving. The owner of the truck had reported the plate as stolen. Summit Blvd. near Trump International in West Palm Beach has reopened to traffic. 
  • A Jupiter man, Michael Wiseman, who posted on social media, “Trump and Vance should be murdered before turning us in to West Russia”. “No time like the present. READY, AIM, FIRE. Rinse and Repeat” has been granted access to a diversion program. Under the diversion program, Wiseman will be eligible to have his record expunged if he complies with the terms set out in the program over the next 18 months, enabling him to purchase and possess a firearm. His charge was a second-degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in jail.  
  • Rivera Beach City Manager Johnathan Evans is set to be suspended according to a report by WPTV. The suspension is said to be due to negligence following the latest development in the city’s water quality crisis. The city most recently significantly underreported the extent and the duration of compromised water that tested positive for human and animal waste. The suspension is said to begin today and extend through October 3rd. The city currently faces over 100 lawsuits from residents due to claims of the city’s tainted water.  
  • It’ll be hot today and humid again today with showers possible throughout the day and highs in the upper 80’s. Temperatures will be about 4 degrees warmer than usual for this date. The National Hurricane Center is currently tracking three systems. The remnants of Gordon are in the mid-Atlantic where there’s a 40% chance of reorganizing. It’s not a threat to populated areas. A disturbance is setting up between the Yucatan Peninsula and Cuba. It has a 40% chance of developing. A third disturbance is just to the west of Gordon’s remnants in the Atlantic and it has a 20% chance of development. 
  • Gas prices were flat on Wednesday – though they rose locally. The average price for regular unleaded in Florida is currently $3.16 per gallon. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.32 per gallon, in Martin the average is $3.18 and in Indian River County the average is $3.14 per gallon.
