It’s Time for FEMA To Go & To Send More Illegal Immigrants Home

It’s Time for FEMA To Go & To Send More Illegal Immigrants Home – Top 3 Takeaways – February 12th, 2025

  1. It’s time for FEMA to Go. We already knew FEMA was a disgrace prior to what DOGE uncovered with its ranks. As we came to learn last year following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, FEMA was more interested in DEI hires than providing disaster relief to Floridians in need. Corruption and political agendas within the entity ran so deep that as we learned orders were given to skip over the homes of Trump voters. Florida was forced to sue FEMA for accountability – which theoretically came, according to the agency, in form of firing a supervisor who directly issued the order. But what we’d immediately learned, based on the account of whistleblowers who stepped forward, was that the reason the supervisor had given the order is because avoiding Trump supporters had become standard operating procedure at FEMA. This not only helps explain the uneven and inconsistent response within the state of Florida, but also the nearly non-existent response in most North Carolina mountain communities, where often 80% or more of the communities are Trump voters – many of which are still desperately in need (hence President Trump’s first stop as president being in the N.C. mountains). It also helps to explain what DOGE just uncovered. On Monday Elon Musk’s DOGE team discovered that as recently as last week FEMA sent $59 million to New York City to house, feed and “secure” illegal immigrants in luxury hotels. Now the agency is quick to say that the funds were different than those that are allocated for disaster relief, as though it really makes a difference. Is the money being used to house Americans who lost their homes and are facing freezing temperatures in the North Carolina mountains? No, it’s going to house, feed and provide security to illegal immigrants in New York City. FEMA’s decision to continue to attempt to covertly make the payments to New York City, displays the pervasiveness of...
  2. Corruption within the agency. An executive order by President Trump on his first day in office explicitly ended the practice of any federal agency providing money to 3rd parties for illegal immigration activities. On Tuesday, four more employees, including FEMA’s CFO, who was responsible for the payments were fired from FEMA, but really, we shouldn’t stop there. In the words of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem: “We must get rid of FEMA the way it exists today” - she’s right but in reality, she should just delete the words “the way it exists”. Getting rid of FEMA today would be the best way to serve the country going forward. FEMA has failed Americans in need in communities across this country for decades. Instead, federal assistance after disasters should flow directly to state and local governments who know their communities and know what they need to do to help people get back on their feet. But in reality, the FEMA example is insightful. It’s a public facing agency, so most people are aware of what’s supposed to take place within it. The same is not true of almost all of the 430 federal government agencies that almost no one has ever heard of. If the CFO and top leaders of FEMA were involved in directly breaking the law (Trump’s executive order), to facilitate their own political agenda, what do you think happens at the hundreds of nameless, faceless agencies you pay for, but have never heard of? Do you think they’re following Trump’s executive orders? Do you think they’re making the best use of your tax dollars? Do you think they’re serving your interests? If FEMA has been corrupted from the financial suite to the field – you can bet that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This once again proves the importance of DOGE and just how incredibility unacceptable it is to continue with the status quo. And btw, Trump seems to agree as he had this to say on Truth Social yesterday: THE BIDEN RUN FEMA HAS BEEN A DISASTER. FEMA SHOULD BE TERMINATED! IT HAS BEEN SLOW AND TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE. INDIVIDUAL STATES SHOULD HANDLE STORMS, ETC., AS THEY COME. BIG SAVINGS, FAR MORE EFFICIENT!!! Amen. Speaking of illegal immigrants...
  3. I’m not. Those were the words of Border Czar Tom Homan on Tuesday when asked if President Trump is happy with the current levels of arrests and deportations. Homan bypassed addressing the president’s feelings by instead saying “I’m not”. In the words of Homan: If you look at the rest of interior enforcement, it’s about three times higher than it was a year ago today. Three times higher is good, but I’m not satisfied. There are more criminal aliens that need to be arrested, hundreds of thousands. Sanctuary cities are putting roadblocks up. We’ve got leaks. So we need to increase the arrests of illegal aliens, especially those with criminal convictions. So we’re going to continue. And we’ve already seen the evidence of the need for this in Palm Beach County this week as two illegal immigrants from Guatemala were arrested and charged with human trafficking and sexual battery for operating a brothel out of an apartment in Lake Worth Beach. PBSO found two women had been brought to Palm Beach County under the false pretense of legitimate work and were forced into sex trafficking at gun point upon arriving. As we also learned one of the suspects was arrested for similar charges in 2023, along with his mother, however, was released after ICE, under the Biden administration, didn’t issue a detainer to take custody of the suspect. ICE immediately issued detainers for the two suspects who’ll be deported after having completed their time in the legal system. But the fact remains that despite the daily news that ICE is taking down criminal illegal immigrants everyday – there are still countless instances of illegal immigrants victimizing people clear across the country everyday - including in our communities.
