Trump’s Winning on The Issues... All of the Them – Top 3 Takeaways

Trump’s Winning on The Issues... All of the Them – Top 3 Takeaways – March 6th, 2025

  1. Winning on the issues. President Trump’s historic pace to restore security, peace and stability in our country and beyond was on full display in the President’s address as we discussed in yesterday’s Top 3 Takeaways. But what’s also come into focus as President Trump isn’t even halfway through his first 100 days is the extent to which he’s winning on the issues. Yesterday I mentioned that the accredited CBS/YouGov poll showed that a whopping 76% of voters who watched President Trump’s address approved of his address. But even having won over three-quarters of voters with his speech didn’t fully tell the story. Its why voters approved of Trump’s speech. Trump cares about the issues that we care about. On the question of whether Trump’s address, addressed the issues you care about 63% said yes compared to only 9% who said not at all. Remember, Democrats in the chamber opposed every issue President Trump talked about meaning that only 9% of Americans effectively share the same opinion as them. How’s that for representing one’s constituents?
  2. It’s increasingly clear that elected Democrats are only representing their extreme and out-out-touch interests. As for how the speech made people feel, 68% said hopeful, 54% proud. Only 27% had a negative feeling after his speech. And here’s the next thing. You know how President Trump is always said by the left to be unpresidential? Not in his speech. 74% of voters have said his address was “presidential”, 74% also found it to be entertaining, 71% said it was inspiring with 62% who said it was unifying. Think about that one. Haven’t we always been told that Trump is the one who’s most divisive? Not anymore. When voters were asked if Trump has a clear plan to combat inflation 68% said yes. 77% said they’re supportive of DOGE’s cutting of wasteful government spending, 77% support Trump’s plans for addressing illegal immigration and the border. How about his handling of Ukrainian policy? 73% said they support Trump’s plans. Clearly Zelenskyy’s disrespectful stunt last Friday didn’t play any better in this country than it did in his country which led to his immediate about face when he returned to Ukraine by Tuesday. On every issue sampled, and in every way the questions were asked...
  3. President Trump is winning on the issues with voters and in an even bigger way than he was prior to his speech. Trump 2.0 is off to a historic start. He’s off to a winning start. He's also leaving a bitter and reprehensible Democrat Party in his dust...Which is appropriate because while over three quarters of Americans rallied behind the President’s address on Tuesday, the Democrat’s existence as the pro child-tranny resistance party belongs in dust bin of history.
