- Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier is alleging Microsoft is engaging in unlawful religious discrimination as reports emerged of Florida based religious nonprofits being denied access to the company’s nonprofit discount program. Uthmeier said Christian schools, churches and pregnancy resource centers are among the nonprofits denied by Microsoft. In a letter to the company, Uthmeier demanded Microsoft “fix” the issue or there will be consequences.
- In Tuesday’s Treasure Coast elections, Vero Beach residents reelected incumbents John Cotungno and Taylor Dingle to city council. Fellsmere did as well with the reelections of Ben Baker and Inocensia Hernandez. In Ocean Breeze incumbent Kevin Docherty won reelection while Gail Balogna and Margaret Pugsley will be new additions to the city council. In Fort Pierce there will be a runoff election for District 2 Seat 2. Chris Dzadovsky and Jaimebeth Galinis will compete in a January 13th runoff after no candidate received 50% of the vote.
- A 28-year-old Texas man has been arrested for antisemitic death threats against Jewish conservatives in Florida. The threats were directed at Joshua Benjamin Hammer, Seth Dillon, Karol Markowicz, and Laura Loomer in October.

- Gas prices fell two cents per gallon on Tuesday. The average price for regular unleaded in Florida is currently $2.92 per gallon. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.09 per gallon, in Martin the average is $3.00, it’s $2.94 in St. Lucie, and in Indian River County the average is $2.92 per gallon.
