Dolphins Draft Picks Announced By MSD Football Players & Aaron Feis' Family

The Miami Dolphins have been honoring the victims of the Parkland shooting and that will continue at the NFL Draft next week.

Players from the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School football team, along with family members of the school's assistant coach Aaron Feis, will be announcing Miami's Day 3 selections (rounds 4 through 7)  a week from Saturday.  Feis was one of 17 people killed on Valentine's Day.

The Dolphins in February donated $100,000 to the Stoneman Douglas community, while the team's coaching staff donated an additional $17,500 to the Feis family.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill and other players have visited with survivors of the shooting, as have members of the Miami Marlins, Miami Heat and Florida Panthers.  It's also been reported that Dolphins players have been wearing Stoneman Douglas shirts during off-season workouts.

The first round of the 2018 NFL Draft is Thursday, April 26.  NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell traditionally announces each team's first round selections.

Miami will have legendary former player Dwight Stephenson announce the team's second round pick, while current Safety Reshad Jones is scheduled to announce the Dolphins' third round pick.  Both of those selections will be made on Friday, April 27.
