My thanks to you – Thanksgiving 2018
Bottom Line: It might seem trite at times when I say thank you or suggest that I appreciate that you listen. I assure you it’s not. When I moved here thirteen years ago, I never realized this would become the home that it has. Candidly, I moved here to continue my radio career because the company had aggressively suggested that I consider various job opportunities in other places to further my career. I told them that if they’d keep me on the water, I’d consider it. When this opportunity opened up, I decided to, somewhat reluctantly, make the move. Next to marrying Ashley, which wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t moved here, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I almost immediately feel in love with the community and you as the audience.
I didn’t get into this to try to make as much money as possible, but it’s always been my goal to reach as many people as possible with my message. You’ve given me the opportunity to pursue my dreams while living where I love to live. There’s not a day that goes by that I take it for granted. I talk into a microphone and without you listening and patronizing sponsors none of this happens. With you as the base it’s been another career year for me. Over the years you’ve provided me with the opportunity to host a daily show on WIOD in Miami. An opportunity to become a guest host for Mark Levin and Sean Hannity. Because you’re there for me I’ve been fortunate enough to become a guest contributor to the Fox News Channel along with a number ofneat related opportunities for various networks along the way. It’s you and others like you right here on WJNO & via iHeartRadio that make it all happen for me and allow me to reach millions through those national and at times, international venues. Thank you – it's why I’ll never stop giving you everything I've got every day – you deserve the best day in and day out.
What you hear has always been what you get. The me you hear on air is me period. Whatever’s next for me – good, bad, indifferent, you’re being there for me is more than I could ever repay & I literally owe my career to you. Happy Thanksgiving and truly, thank you & may God bless.
