For Protecting the Palm Beaches, we honor the Police Officer of the Year Award winner from the Boca/Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Officer Cynthia Rivera with the Boynton Beach Police Department was given the honor during the Chamber's First Responders Awards presentation.
She was awarded for several arrests and assistance in investigations during 2020, but it was also pointed out that Officer Rivera helped deliver a baby while on the job in February of this year...so her contributions have not let up.
