The remainder of Surfside Florida's Champlain Towers South will be demolished between 10 p.m. tonight and 3 a.m. Monday.

An immediate shelter in place order is in effect for the surrounding area.

A team of demolition specialists has finished boring holes and laying explosives.

The search-and-rescue mission has been suspended but officials believe the demolition should eventually open up new areas for rescue teams.

The death toll from the June 24th collapse has risen to 24 people, with 121 still missing.
