The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is holding a donation drive for victims of Hurricane Ida, which made landfall in Louisiana in August.

"We're capable of doing this. We did it about two or three years ago for some other people. So, we know that the people here can afford to donate some items and get them over here."

In a video, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw says donations of things like toilet paper, paper towels, water, clothing and other everyday supplies can be dropped off at Lake Lytal Park between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and you'll drive home with some barbecue.

"When you come in you can give a donation and we're going to give you the best barbecue dinner you've ever had."

Lake Lytal Park is located on Gun Club Road, not far from the PBSO headquarters in suburban West Palm Beach.
