Hamas Loves Biden & Trump’s Gag - Top 3 Takeaways – May 10th, 2024

  1. Hamas loves Biden. No, those weren’t the words of the former and perhaps future President of the Unites States, Donald Trump. They were the words of Ben-Gvir, the Minister of National Security of Israel – which given his role in the Israeli government amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war currently carries with it significantly more weight. Just two days after President Biden said, at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum: My commitment to the safety of the Jewish people, to the security of Israel and its right to exist as an independent Jewish state is ironclad...we were provided with what an “ironclad” relationship with Joe Biden looks like via his CNN interview with Erin Burnett in which the president said... (Cough) I’ve made it clear if they go into Rafa, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used to deal with Rafa. To deal with the cities to deal with that problem. It's just wrong. (Sniffle) We’re not going to supply the weapons and the artillery shells. And that is why, in the words of Israel’s Minister of National Security, Hamas loves Biden. Because President Biden single handily, and illegally (more on that in a moment), is currently Hamas’ greatest ally. Yes, Hamas has evil friends in dry places like the Mullahs in Iran, however Iran, nor any other terrorist sponsoring countries will stop Israel from entering Rafa and most importantly, eliminating Hamas – but Joe Biden might. Once again here is what’s stated in Hamas’ founding document. This is what the terrorist government stated in its charter: The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine. Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it. Palestine is an Islamic land... Since this is the case, the Liberation of Palestine is an individual duty for every Moslem wherever he may be. The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. So-called peaceful solutions and international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement... Those conferences are no more than a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of Islam... There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. This is why Hamas has been attacking Jews since they were founded in 1988. This is why they committed several acts of terrorism when Israel agreed to a two-state solution in the 1993 Oslo accords (to prevent it from happening). This is why October 7th happened. And this is also...
  2. Why Israel can’t be safe until they are eliminated. Joe Biden says his “commitment to safety of the Jewish people, to the security of Israel is ironclad” and then his next action is to threaten Israel with withholding what had already been promised, if they attempt to do the only thing that can be done to ensure their safety from Hamas. Joe Biden is a liar. Joe Biden is demonstrably supporting Hamas. That is not rhetoric. That is not hyperbole. Joe Biden is demonstrably supporting Hamas. Joe Biden is currently the only obstacle between Israel and the elimination of Hamas. And for that reason, it’s altogether possible that Hamas currently loves him back. It’s my hope and expectation that Israel won’t back down and will finish the job. Congress authorized, and President Biden signed into law, an aid package that included the promised weapons for Israel. There weren’t any exceptions for entering Rafa within the law. Joe Biden retains no lawful authority to withhold them, and if he does, he will have violated the law, and his oath of office – an impeachable offense. This really isn’t complicated. If you’re on the side of what’s best for Hamas, you’re on the wrong side. And as for ironclad commitments? Apparently, Joe Biden was referring to a commitment to make Israel fight Hamas with 19th century warships.
  3. Trump’s Discretion. On Tuesday following New York Judge Merchan’s threat of jail time for repeated violations of his gag order I said this: The question now is whether Trump decides to try to push his buttons. If he violates the gag order again it’s not because he can’t control himself, it’s because he’s choosing to violate the gag order because, as he’s stated, he believes the absurd gag order placed on him in this absurd case is unconstitutional and he’s looking to prove his point. What we’ve learned during the fourth week of the Trump trial is that the former president has chosen up to this point to exercise this restraint while legally appealing the gag order against him. What we also learned this week is that if anyone should have had a gag order it should have been Stormy Daniels. Her completely irrelevant testimony put us once again in a position of hearing her details of an alleged Trump tryst which effectively gagged the rest of us.
