According to new research presented at the American Heart Association's conference - we're most inclined to consume far more in social situations than other times. In fact, you're 60% more likely to consume more when you're eating with others. It's easy to see how it happens...

Someone in your group orders an appetizer and encourages you to do so - likewise the dessert. People also tend to drink far more in social situations than not and those calories add up quickly. So if you find that you're diligent most of the time but don't seem to make the progress with your diet/weight management - track your social situation. It's probably behind it...
