Over half of Americans now have high-deductible plans leading to record low healthcare use by insured individuals:

Bottom Line: I've cited, even recently, the data from 2015's healthcare usage via the Kaiser Family Foundation, that demonstrated that over 40 million adults with health insurance didn't obtain any healthcare due to the inability to afford out-of-pocket costs. This story picks up on that data and projects an even worse picture for 2017.

According to the latest research from Amino, over half of all Americans are now on a high-deductible plan. And what's the most common impact? You guessed it...less healthcare.
