Most of us are environmentally conscious in certain ways - the personal decisions we make based on environmental considerations:

Bottom Line: Do you/have you made decisions specifically due to your environmental views? While it's unfortunate that environmentalism has been used as a political football for many years - there's really nothing partisan about caring for your back yard. The latest Gallup research show's that most of us have/do make certain decisions with environmental considerations in mind but there's a fine line between conscientiousness and activism. According to Gallup:

66% of us have made a consumer decision based on environmental concerns

But just...

11% have contacted a company to inquire/complain about practices

And just...

9% have made investment decisions based on environmental concerns

This resonated with me because this is exactly what I personally will do. I'm mindful from a consumer level but not generally beyond those decisions. Based on this research you can expect that many companies will continue to increase the environmentally friendly aspects of what their company does and why you should choose them over the competition.
