Bottom Line: After the most brutal election cycle in, at least modern, American politics - the first 100 days of the Trump administration aren't resulting in a toned down political environment in the workplace. According to Gallup's latest survey work:
58% of business professionals report increased political discussion in the workplace during the first 100 days of the Trump administration. Just 8% report less political discussion - with 34% reporting no change. So perhaps the volume of political discourse is here to stay at an elevated level. I strongly encourage conservatives to be respectful of others but to be willing to positively project their views when appropriate (rather than feeling defensive due to the bigotry of others).
