Technology has no age limit - Your parents are probably as savvy as you by now:

Bottom Line: The mobile era has really laid waste to the old stereo type of older dogs not being able to learn new tricks. The Pew Research Center's most recent research on technology use shows that there's very little drop off in internet use, mobile use and social media use by adults up to the age of about 74.

Daily habits of all adults up to the age of 75 now most commonly occur use of the internet and mobile devices. Up to the age of 65 most adults are also using social media daily. Compare this to five years ago when only 11% of seniors owned a smart phone and only about 5% were using social media and you can see how dramatically this has changed. Here's the point for your parents. They probably are either more technologically capable than you realize or they're potentially more capable than you realize. Engaging with your parents could bring more enjoyment with them feeling more connected with their loved ones and provide you with more confidence in being able to stay connected with them digitally.
