Hysterical Media Headlines (funny or absurd) for June 7th:
Bottom Line: I've ID'd some in the media as generally being Godless, soulless and slanderous (ok, so the Godless/soulless thing is a theory...The slanderous part - that's pretty real). I've decided to grab some of the most outrageous headlines to illustrate the point of just how outrageous it's become. Here are today's examples:
Trump Needs to Get a Grip: Eugene Robinson, Washington Post
Has Anyone Told Donald Trump That He Runs the Government?: Ezra Klein, Vox
The Lawless Presidency: David Leonhardt, New York Times
How Trump Made the Qatar Situation Worse: Fred Kaplan, Slate
The Madness of King Trump: Josh Marshall, Talking Points Memo
Trump Tanks His Own Case at the Supreme Court: Noah Feldman, Bloomberg
You've got to love the irony of the Washington Post (of fake news sources & discredited stories to attempt to undermine the President) telling the the President to get a grip! It also wouldn't be a day in the news if we didn't heave stories dripping with condescending commentary like VOX's & Bloomberg's work. Which btw, again Bloomberg has embraced the narrative that it's not what's in the President's executive order that matters but rather what he said on the campaign trail. Could you imagine the banana republic this would be if your words (at any point in time previously), not actions, were constantly on trial rather than your actions...
