The 3rd Floridian, Still Saying Gay & Deja Vu – Top 3 Takeaways – June 16th, 2023
- The 3rd Floridian. Michael Bloomberg, Rudy Guiliani, the Buttigieg all have at least one thing in common. They’re all former mayors who ran for president. They’re all former mayors who weren’t even serious contenders in their party primaries – let alone being serious presidential contenders overall. Michael Bloomberg, in particular, showed elections can’t really be bought - contrary to common belief (remarkably he spent over $1 billion – almost all of which was his money, only to finish 4th with only 1% of the pledged delegates – though that was twice as many as Pete Buttigieg). In fact, here’s a related fun fact. There’s never been a person who has gone straight from having been a mayor to being elected President of the United States...and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez isn’t about to be the first. In fact, mayoral-presidential history is so skewed against mayors, that only one, Grover Cleveland, ever served as a mayor (Buffalo), prior to serving as president. Grover eventually ran for president after having been the Governor of New York. Part of the reason mayors don’t become presidents is political preference. Most mayors have been micro-focused on their communities as opposed to the macro-focus of the country. Historically, only 20% of mayors have ever gone on to run for state or federal offices. But there’s a first for everything right? So, will Suarez, the third Floridian, be the one to make history? Well, there’s no denying Miami loves him. Frances has won two elections as Miami’s mayor. In the first election he won about 86% of the vote. He won his reelection with about 79% of the vote. But how many votes were there that he won? 21,000 in the first election and 21,000 in the second election. Yep, even in Florida’s largest city the winning vote total for mayor was barely more than 20k. And that in a nutshell is why people don’t go from being mayors of cities to becoming the President of the United States. There’s no city, not even New York, where the stage is big enough to where it scales to that level. And no, Frances Suarez, whom during my time in Miami radio I nicknamed “Miami’s Magic Man”, but whom once kneeled with Black Lives Matters protestors, won’t be the first. He enters the presidential race as the third Floridian in it. He’ll eventually exit this race as the third Floridian in it.
- DeJa'Vu. If it’s inappropriate to do that at the White House (topless tranny’s running around) – why do you want to have that curriculum jammed into a second grader’s classroom. Meanwhile, among top-tier presidential candidates on Thursday, there was that comment by Florida’s Governor. It was in a response to a reporter's question, which was once again needling the governor on the false pretense of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Law, which still to this day is falsely characterized as the “don’t say gay” law. That despite the word gay not even being mentioned once in the law – let alone prohibiting of the use of it in classrooms. But what yesterday was, was a case of deja vu. For months during the debate last year, I was on the front lines educating Floridians on what was actually in the law, while calling out news outlets which participated in the false reporting of what actually was in the law. It took months to beat back the false reporting, and false characterizations, but in the end, Florida’s parents won, the legislation became law, and in fact polling overwhelmingly showed that once Floridians actually knew what was in the law, they overwhelmingly supported it. This is why after battling the misinformation of fake news reporting, the left and woke corporations like Disney, Governor DeSantis was able to win a historic reelection victory last November. The truth set Floridians free and handed rights to sexual orientation in the classroom back to Florida’s parents over Florida’s activists which occasionally instruct in classrooms. But what I realized yesterday is that it’s now happening all over again, but this time with the national news media which still haven’t read the law, aren’t interested in the truth but are interested in attempting to make DeSantis out to be an intolerant bigot. While I read the whole law on the air multiple times last year to illustrate both the truth and the point (which wasn’t hard to do because it was only six pages). For the national news media and for any listeners who still don’t know the truth...here’s the language of the law: (prohibits) classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards. I said it back then and I’ll say it again, seeing as this is a case of déjà vu. If by chance you’re opposed Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, meaning you do think we should be teaching kids in kindergarten through third grade about sexual orientation...
- You can still say “gay” in Florida. You can still say transexual in the classroom. That said you’re a sick, discussing, twisted freak – regardless of what your sexuality is and the last place you should ever be is in proximity to children. And in the words of the governor... If it’s inappropriate to do that at the White House (topless tranny’s running around) – why do you want to have that curriculum jammed into a second grader’s classroom. And that hits at the bigger issue here. None of this is about heterosexuality or homosexuality – the law literally doesn’t distinguish between the two. It’s not about tolerance or intolerance. It’s about right and wrong. It’s wrong to sexualize children period. The governor should never have to answer to that. The sick, discussing, twisted freaks who advocate for sexualizing our children are the ones that should have to answer for that. But in our politically correct world, which has become so open-minded, brains have started to fall out, here we are with our governor yet again having to account for a law which simply states, in so many words, that you can’t teach sex to those under the age of eight. And what all of this is, is what happens when a society at large is intimidated into saying nothing in the name of “tolerance”. What people outside of those in the middle of the LGBTQIA’*+ movement miss is this. What do you think “pride” is? It’s about sexuality. If you embrace a sexuality movement in the name of “tolerance” what do you think you’re going to get? You’re going to get sex. That’s why a “pride” event at the White House had trannys running around topless. It’s why drag shows generally come with the displaying of ding dongs. And it’s why I’ve always rejected the premise of celebrating “pride”. I’m not proud to be heterosexual. I just am. My homosexual friends aren’t “proud” to be homosexual. They just are. But those who are proud of their sexuality tend to be porn stars and drag queens along with those who gravitate towards those types of people and things. To each their own – but for our children – leave them alone. And if we can’t agree on that – I assure you the problem, is with you.
