Just how early in August kids will return to classrooms next school year is up for debate in Broward.
Broward County Public Schools has designed three calendars.
Two have the first day of classes on Wednesday, August 18th, with the third option setting it for Monday, August 23rd.
All three options have the same amount of instructional days, and in all three, semester exams will occur before Winer Break.
The differences come over Thanksgiving and whether that break should be three days, or like this year, a full week.
Broward County Public Schools is taking the input of parents, students, staff and the community, but the survey must be completed by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
