(Miami, Fla) - FIU political science professor Eduardo Gamarra says there were too many Republicans battling for talking time during last night's GOP debate.

Gamarra said even though the field was whittled down from the first debate "it still lent itself to the kind of shouting and fourth grade classroom-like conduct."

Gamarra says the chaos of last night's debate mirror's the state of American politics.

Seven Republicans participated, but the front-runner Donald Trump was a no show. Gamarra says "Eagles don't hunt flies" and Trump risks much more by participating in the debates.

Trump is not expected to take part in the next debate which will be held on November 8th in Miami.

Currently the venue and the moderator are still up in the air.
