There's a case of the measles in Weston.
Broward County Public Schools announcing a person at Manatee Bay Elementary School has come down with the measles. School officials say they are working closely with the Florida Department of Health. No word on whether the patient is a student or a staffer.
Symptoms are cold-like -- runny nose, coughing, and sneezing, and of course the blotchy skin rash. Symptoms typically don't appear until 10 to 14 days after exposure.
