The South Florida Muslim Federation holding its rescheduled conference in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend after their original conference at the Coral Springs Mariott was canceled abruptly last month. President Samir Kakli says they may take legal action against the hotel chain for denying his group the right to congregate. This weekend's conference will now include a special session titled "Bridging Faith and Politics-United Against Hate" to address problems of Islamophobia, racism and antisemitism.
