South Florida Marks 63rd Anniversary Of Bay Of Pigs Invasion

Local ceremonies planned to mark the 63rd anniversary of the Bay of Pigs invasion, the failed CIA-sponsored military operation to overthrow Fidel Castro in Cuba. Cuban expert Dr. Andy Gomez says it's a sad day in history for the courageous volunteers who sacrificed everything for freedom. The anniversary comes as Cuba and the U-S are in high-level migration talks in Washington, D.C. Cuba is asking the U-S to ease sanctions and end special treatment of Cubans illegally entering its territory. The communist island is facing a severe economic crisis with food, water and power shortages.
